Lifestyle Interventions


One of the primary goals of the Cognitive Empowerment Program is to provide structured activities that enhance physical, cognitive, and emotional wellbeing and allow our Members to remain as independent as possible in their day-to-day functioning. Program activities are selected based on research regarding beneficial practices for people with MCI. The Lifestyle Interventions team is comprised of professionals with expertise in the following areas:

  • Physical exercise
  • Yoga
  • Tai Chi
  • Cognitive training
  • Nutritional education
  • Functional independence training
  • Education on how to cope with MCI
  • Social engagement
  • Support groups

Members and Care Partners complete the multi-disciplinary curriculum over 6 months. Our objective is to provide education and experiences that help Members and Care Partners remain engaged and establish habits so that they will continue to feel capable and empowered in their daily lives.
